Razzo is a Brazilian company and has a serious commitment to the environment.
This concern is part of their DNA and influences their way of acting, their decisions and new directions of market.
Its constant investments in quality, technology, research, training of employees, logistics and marketing strategy have, as well as meeting the needs of its customers, to reduce the environmental impacts of the industrial process. Finding more intelligent ways to reduce the consumption of natural resources and reuse what is possible is Razzo’s way of bringing solutions to the daily actions that benefit the business and the environment.
GRAXARIA AND ITS BENEFITS TO SOCIETY AND THE ENVIRONMENT
Since 1964, Razzo has been working in the greasing segment, collecting and processing by-products (bovine bones and meat residues). These materials are transformed into meat meal which is used in the composition of animal feed, glycerin and tallow which are used in the production of soaps, high quality soaps and various biodegradable cleaning products.
To meet this demand, the company has its own fleet of vehicles adapted for this purpose. Exclusive in the country, the trucks meet the highest international standards of hygiene, avoiding any type of contamination of the products.
With an average age of 4 years, the fleet of trucks is constantly renewed, generating fuel economy and less pollution to the environment. As part of Razzo’s mission to train its employees, the team that works directly with the trucks receives defensive and economic management training, traffic legislation classes and periodic participation in lectures and motivational incentives for safer traffic, with respect to environment.
In addition, Razzo is the first company in the industry to use plastic containers in the collection of butchers, refrigerators and super markets, providing much more hygiene in the collection and storage of by-products.
Its pioneering in the greasing segment and the constant investments in technology and innovation also brought the recognition of the market that uses the company as reference in the area. In an interview published on the website of SINCOBESP, Gustavo Razzo Neto says that “today, the Brazilian market of greases is recognized worldwide. I get executives from all over the world who want to know our facilities, the cutting-edge technologies that are applied and come for information. It is a great pride to know that we have an efficient and modern industry that can be an example for any country.”
Razzo has its own industrial park that has a modern system of treatment of odors that, through the washing of gases, neutralizes the emission of odors from the industrial process. The site also has an effluent treatment plant that is responsible for the purification of 100m3 / day of water.
This is the commitment of Razzo, to promote intelligent solutions that bring benefits to the environment, transforming our reality and thus guaranteeing the future of the next generations.
ENVIRONMENTAL HIGHLIGHTS CERTIFICATE: GREEN SEAL
In 2016, Razzo received the Green Socio-Environmental Responsibility Seal of the environmental newspaper of the State of São Paulo, which recognizes it as a company that meets the legal requirements of environmental agencies such as, Ibama, Cetesb, Conama and the State Secretariat for the Environment and City Hall.

SINCOBESP AND THE CAMPAIGN “WE STAND WITH THE BONE”
In 1996, Razzo, a pioneer in the care of the environment, together with five other São Paulo industries, founded SINCOBESP * to find solutions that reduce social and environmental impacts. Today, thanks to the efforts of those involved, the union has national coverage with the adhesion of companies from all over the country.
In 2016 launched the WE STAND WITH THE BONE campaign, which educates the public about the importance of recycling animal by-products, increasing the efficiency of use of the material and preserving environmental quality.
The greases, a segment represented by SINCOBESP, collect and process waste discarded by butchers, fishmongers, slaughterhouses, poultry, poultry and poultry slaughterhouses and transform them into flour, feed, oil, fertilizers and biofuel, avoiding problems for the environment and for society, such as:
• Exposure of materials in a state of decomposition.
• Pollution of soil, water and air.
• Decreased presence of unwanted animals such as insects, birds and rodents in the urban area.
* National Union of Collectors and Beneficiaries of Animal By-products.
